Captain Ken Reeves began his career in Public Safety on February 14, 1982 at the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. After joining the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, he graduated from Floyd Junior College Police Academy in 1983.
He has served in the Uniformed Patrol Division and the DUI Task Force. While working in the Uniformed Patrol Division, he was promoted to the rank of Corporal in 1984. In 1990, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and in 2001, he was promoted to Lieutenant. In 2002, he was promoted to the rank of Captain where he currently oversees the Patrol Division, Transport, DUI Task Force, Interstate Crime Unit, and the School Resource Officers.
Captain Reeves has received several certifications in his Law Enforcement career, including Jail Certification, Radar Operator, LIDAR (laser) operator, as well as Senior Deputy Certification. |
